In Episode 26, the third selection reaches its final task: a trial training consisting of five matches with randomly selected teams. It is forbidden to observe the matches of the other teams, and there is a six-hour break between games to ensure fairness.

Isagi Yoichi chooses Team A, which faces Team B in the first match. Team A consists of Isagi, Nanase Nijiro, and Hiori Yo, while Team B is made up of Chigiri Hyoma, Shiguma Kyohei, and Saramadara Kairu. Isagi is aware that his teammates are also his rivals, and he wants to prove his skills.

At the start of the battle, Isagi tries to adapt to the attacking style of Rin and Shidou to become a valuable option. Shidou impresses with a goal from a no-look backheel shot, showcasing his extraordinary talent. Since Karasu is focusing on him and he lacks synergy with Rin and Shidou, Isagi struggles to make an impact. He watches as Chigiri uses his speed to create new attacking opportunities. Isagi realizes how important it is to assert himself and keep up with the top players, deciding to focus on his strengths: his spatial awareness, off-the-ball movement, and direct shooting.
