Several news items have been released regarding the football manga series Blue Lock (Japanese: Burū Rokku) by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura. An additional anime television series as well as a live-action film adaptation of the story are in production.

The announcements were made as part of the Blue Lock Egoist Fiesta 2025 event on September 28 at the Keio Arena Tokyo. The live-action film is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2026, which falls during a World Cup season. The production company CREDEUS, known for film projects such as Kingdom and Golden Kamui, will be responsible for the adaptation.
