The former bearers of "One For All" communicate with the current bearer, Izuku Midoriya, in his dream while he is hospitalized. They explain that their powers have grown and that they can communicate with each other and with him because One For All suddenly evolved four months ago. One of the former bearers, Banjo, reassures Izuku that his private life remains private and that he doesn’t need to worry. Another former bearer, Hikage Shinomori, introduces himself as the fourth wielder and explains that Izuku unexpectedly received his power during the last battle. What made Shinomori special was his ability to sense danger. He also explains that he lived as a recluse for 18 years while fleeing from All For One and building up his power, but he died at the age of 40 due to old age, which was actually a result of having multiple defects in his body that shortened his lifespan. The former bearers eventually reveal to Izuku that they wanted to talk about the same thing Yagi had mentioned regarding the burden of One For All. They explain that the previous bearers, who lacked All Might’s endurance and physical ability to withstand the power for as long as he did, ended up with shortened lifespans.

Meanwhile, a press conference is being held where the three top heroes, Hawks, Endeavor, and Best Jeanist, inform the public about recent events. Three days after the major incident, the panic and unrest among the people have not yet subsided. Endeavor reveals that Dabi from the League of Villains is his son, Toya Todoroki, and apologizes for the truth. Hawks also confirms Dabi’s claim that he killed a villain who had run away and hidden the truth about his father. The reporters at the press conference question the heroes about their actions, with one reporter pointing out that many people have lost their homes and asking how they can remain so calm. Endeavor explains that showing exhausted faces won’t undo the damage, but they can atone by taking care of the villains. Best Jeanist announces that schools with hero courses will be designated as shelters to reduce the area that needs protection. Endeavor asks the public to direct their guilt and discomfort toward him rather than the heroes who will be risking their lives. When asked about One For All, Endeavor replies that he doesn’t know.

Ochaco reflects on the state of heroes, saying that they have fallen but there are still those who fight back. Mineta finds a letter from his friend Izuku Midoriya (Deku) at his door. The letter states that Deku has left U.A. High to protect his friends and stop the villains Shigaraki and All For One. In the letter, Deku also reveals that he received a special power from All Might and that his departure is necessary to keep his classmates safe. Ochaco calls Deku an idiot for leaving but acknowledges that heroes are those who aren’t afraid to take the hard path. The dialogue ends with a glimpse of what’s to come: Izuku sets out to stop Shigaraki and All For One and become the greatest hero.

And with that, the series moves into its final story arc ;)
