At the climax of the episode, Deku battles Muscular, the first villain who nearly killed him in Season 3. This fight showcases Deku's growth, as he combines the weaknesses of his predecessors and defeats Muscular with a powerful "Detroit Smash" at 45% power, without further injuring himself.

Izuku is now on a secret mission across the country, supported only by All Might. The weight of his destiny is felt by everyone, including his mother and All Might, who is tormented by guilt for placing this burden on him.
