Boku to Roboko – second trailer reveals multiverse chaos

To prepare for the theatrical release of Boku to Roboko (Eng. Me and Roboko) on April 18, the second main trailer was released, offering glimpses into the turbulent plot of the film.

The plot is based on the manga chapter Multiverse and Roboko (Ep. 157) and expands it with an original story: In a world where custom-made robot butlers are commonplace, student Bondo experiences chaos with his eccentric robot maid Roboko when versions from parallel universes appear. The alternate Robocos are voiced by legendary actors such as Mayumi Tanaka (One Piece), Shigeru Chiba (Ranma ½), Sumire Uesaka (Lycoris Recoil), and Masako Nozawa (Dragon Ball).

The film adapts the cult manga series by Shūhei Miyazaki, which stands out for its humorous everyday scenes and absurd-futuristic twists. The director and production team emphasize that the story will delight both longtime fans with insider references and newcomers with emotional and comedic moments.
