The official social media account for the Naruto and Boruto manga series has released an update about the "second part" of the Boruto manga, which is jointly written by Masashi Kishimoto and Mikio Ikemoto. The upcoming part of the series, titled "Two Blue Vortex," is set to release on August 21, following its hiatus since April.
The sequel manga, which was launched in May 2016 by Ukyō Kodachi and Ikemoto in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, was initially published monthly before moving to V Jump in July 2019. Starting with Chapter 52, Kishimoto took over from Kodachi as the main writer of the story.
As of February 3, Shueisha has released 19 compiled volumes of the manga.
