Fate encounters a mysterious girl with eyes similar to his, who warns him about the goblins. Later, Roxy reveals that she has been chosen for an expedition to Galia, a land known for its dangerous monsters. Fate pleads with her not to go, fearing for her safety, but Roxy remains resolute.

Meanwhile, the Vlerick family discusses their plans. Hado Vlerick is tasked with hunting a lich named Corpse, while Rafale and another member talk about a research trip to Tenbern and a mysterious "Immortality Project." It is hinted that the Vlericks are behind Roxy's dangerous mission to Galia.

Back at the winery, Fate and Roxy encounter a massive goblin known as the "Crowned Beast." Despite its immense strength, Fate manages to defeat it with the help of a powerful ability from his talking sword, Greed. However, the victory comes at a cost: Fate struggles to control his ability, Gluttony, which craves stronger souls.

Aisha Hart secretly asks Fate to stay by Roxy's side and support her, revealing that she does not have much longer to live in this world. Fate is torn between his hidden Gluttony and the deceptive life he leads. The episode ends with Roxy praying for her upcoming expedition to Galia, while Fate contemplates his next steps—especially after learning that Hado will join the hunt for Corpse.
