The plot intensifies when Aaron reveals his tragic past. His family and people fell victim to a crowned beast, and his former castle, Hausen, is now under the control of the Genesis of Death, a lich lord. Aaron's family, still held captive by the lich lord, appears to him as illusions—a tormenting reminder of his past.
