The original anime "Bucchigiri?!" will air on January 13, 2024, at 23:00 on TV Tokyo and other networks. Directed by Hiromi Uchiumi and animated by MAPPA, with Taku Kishimoto handling series composition and script, recent updates include cast announcements, new visuals, the main promotional video, and details about the opening theme song.

The story follows protagonist Tomoshigi Arajin, who transfers to the notorious Ichizu High School and gets caught up in battles with terrifying opponents. Arajin, voiced by Genki Taiga, reunites with his childhood friend Matataka Asamine, voiced by Yuton Hoshino, with whom he once aspired to become a "Honnki-bito" (a serious person).

The cast features a lineup of well-known voice actors, including Masafumi Kobatake, Nozomu Sasaki, Jiro Saito, Anna Nagase, Katsuhiro Yamaguchi, Yuko Natsuyama, Ryota Takeuchi, Makoto Furukawa, Shotaro Hayama, and Chihiro Suzuki.

The opening theme song, "Sesame," is a newly written track by the five-member band Kroi. Parts of this opening theme can be heard in the main promotional video.
