Bukimi Miki's Shy Manga is getting a TV anime at 8-bit

After the anime adaptation of Miki Bukimi's manga SHY was confirmed, a first teaser for the project has now been released. The video features voice actress Shino Shimoji, who plays the main character of this superhero story, Teru Momijiyama aka Shy. The anime is being produced by studio 8-Bit. A release date and further details have not yet been announced.



SHY is Bukimi's first professional manga, an action-fantasy story that has been serialized in Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine by Akita Shoten since 2019. The work is available in Japan with 16 compiled volumes.

In the middle of the 21st century, wars have disappeared from the world, and every country on Earth has its own superheroes. After the conflict was resolved, our heroes returned to their respective nations to focus on other matters. This is the story of Shy, a young and timid Japanese heroine.
