The episode begins with Tetsuro Okino facing disciplinary action after accidentally uploading a confidential video about Giant Beasts to the new homepage of Namidome Industries. Kintaro Kataoka, the accountant, is furious and insists on harsh punishment for Okino, while others in the company advocate for leniency. The video is removed, but the damage is done.

Okino is penalized with one week of unpaid leave. During this time, he reflects on his actions and even considers quitting. Ginnosuke Muto visits him, offering food and advice. Muto questions Okino’s readiness to give up so easily and doubts his passion for robots and his work.

Meanwhile, the company faces another problem: they risk losing the ship they need to reach Ryugan Island to fight the giant beasts. The reason is financial difficulties and the reluctance of local businesses to support them. Koji Tajima, the company’s director, is also under pressure to secure more funding and clients.

Tajima attends a meeting with island residents who are frustrated by the lack of progress in combating the giant creatures and the toxic gas on Ryugan Island. Tajima presents a new theory: the gas may have been produced by the giant beasts themselves. He asks the islanders for their trust and promises to resolve the issue.

At that moment, Arumi Nikaido reports the sighting of a new creature. It is smaller than the usual giant beasts and resembles a hairless dog. Tajima and Nikaido rush to the scene, but the boat they normally use is unavailable. Despite all obstacles, Nikaido decides to head to the island.

At the end of the episode, Okino, still on unpaid leave, decides to take action. Despite the risk of further disciplinary measures, he declares that he will go to the island to help Nikaido, even if his future with the company is at stake.
