As for the plot, Bullbuster appears to revolve around the challenges and tensions faced by a company, Hato Industries, which is on the front lines battling a mysterious life form known as "Kyojū." With the protagonist Tetsurō Okino and his invention, the robot Bullbuster, joining the company, the narrative unfolds the struggles of managing finances while remaining committed to the cause. For instance, missed targets have severe financial consequences, highlighting the constant tension between the company's mission and its budgetary constraints.
