The episode begins with Aya reflecting on her past and her father's disappointment. She finds herself with Bram on a tower, where he reveals that she is being used as bait to lure the members of the detective agency. Meanwhile, Dazai and Sigma are trapped in an elevator in Mersault. They find themselves in a life-threatening situation as the elevator fills with water and catches fire. Dazai manages to open the door, but another command causes the elevator to plummet. Sigma is torn between helping Dazai or fleeing.

Atsushi, still struggling with the true goal of the Decay of the Angels, discovers Aya but is attacked by Akutagawa. Although Atsushi tries to reason with him, Akutagawa remains hostile. Dazai, who has fled to the 4th floor but is injured, is attacked by Chuuya on Fyodor's orders. Sigma intervenes, shoots Fyodor in the shoulder, and questions him about his abilities.

At the airport, Aya learns of Fukuchi's plan to command a vampire attack within five minutes. She attempts to wrest a holy sword from Bram, causing him immense pain. Bram reveals that his powers are constrained by the holy sword, leaving them with few options.

Back in Mersault, Sigma confronts Fyodor and touches him to read his memories, despite Fyodor's attempts to manipulate him. At the same time, the UN activates the "One Order," a device capable of controlling vampires. Fukuchi betrays the UN and orders a large-scale vampire attack. Aya tries to take the holy sword from Bram by tying it to a heavy table and throwing it from the tower, but her attempt fails.
