Kadokawa has announced the release date for the highly anticipated fifth season of Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukawa's popular manga series Bungo Stray Dogs, which is set to premiere on July 12.



To set the stage for the unfolding saga, GRANRODEO has been entrusted with the opening song "Kurogane no Ori" (Iron Cell), while Luck Life will close the episodes with the ending song "Kiseki" (Trails).

As the plot deepens, the Armed Detective Agency faces numerous challenges. The threat from Kamui, the leader of Tenjin Goshui, who is constantly hunting them down, persists. The future of the agency seems to hang in the balance, leading to a gripping narrative that viewers can look forward to.

The fifth season brings back the seasoned team from the fourth season. The talents of director Takuya Igarashi, scriptwriter Yoji Enokido, and character designer and chief animator Nobuhiro Arai are once again brought to life. Animation studio BONES also continues its contribution to the series. The main cast, including Yūto Uemura, Mamoru Miyano, Sumire Morohoshi, Kensho Ono, and Kishō Taniyama, returns as well, ensuring that the beloved characters retain their original essence.
