Cafe Terrace and Its Goddesses anime streaming character video

Anime fans, take note: The official website for the anime adaptation of Kouji Seo's "The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses" (Megami no Café Terrace) has just released a character video and new images for one of the main characters, Shiragiku Ono (voiced by Azumi Waki). This is just a small taste of what's to come when the series premieres in April on MBS and TBS as part of the "Animeism" programming block.



The series boasts an impressive cast: Masaaki Mizunaka as Hayato Kasubake, Azumi Waki as Shiragiku Ono, Aya Yamane as Riho Tsukishima, Sayumi Suzushiro as Ami Tsuruga, Asami Seto as Akane Hōōji, and Ruriko Aoki as Ōka Makuzawa.

Behind the scenes, the series is helmed by Satoshi Kuwabara, who directs at Tezuka Productions, Keiichirō Ōchi, who writes the scripts for the series, Masatsune Noguchi, who designs the characters, as well as Shu Kanematsu and Miki Sakurai, who compose the music.

And for our English-speaking readers, Kodansha USA Publishing is releasing the manga in English and gives us a little insight into the plot: When Hayato's grandmother dies, he wants to sell her run-down café by the sea, unaware that it also houses five young women who call themselves her family...! Their desperate wish to keep the café open convinces Hayato to give it a try... But even his best intentions aren't enough! And can he even work together with these five unruly women? Either way, he's got his hands full! A hilarious new romantic comedy from the author of Fuuka and Suzuka!

Seo launched the manga in February 2021 in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine. So, mark your calendars and get ready for a wild ride with "The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses" in April.
