Together with additional information about the cast, the second trailer for the upcoming anime "Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill" has been released.



The anime project was announced in October 2022 and is being animated by Studio MAPPA. The premiere is set for January 10, 2023. Yuma Uchida will voice the protagonist Mukoda and perform the ending theme song "Happy-go-Journey," while Van de Shop will handle the opening theme "Zeitaku na Saji." The new cast members include Yo Taichi as Agni, Yuko Kaida as Kishar, and Saho Shirasu as Rusalka.

The story is based on the light novel by Ren Eguchi, which has been published online since January 2016. The plot revolves around Mukoda, an ordinary man from modern Japan who is summoned to a world of sword fights and magic. However, he soon realizes that he was accidentally summoned by a kingdom seeking to exploit him. Mukoda possesses a unique skill that allows him to purchase modern goods in a fantasy world. He uses this ability to set up a kitchen with modern ingredients in this other world, leading to some absurd consequences.
