Akane Shimizu’s Cells at Work! Manga had revealed on Tuesday, through its official Twitter account, that the manga will soon get an animation adaptation. The animation will release before the first episode of Welcome to the Ballroom, at 11:30 P.M. on Sunday. The animation will release on BS11, Tokyo MX, and Gunma TV.

The official YouTube channel of Kodansha is planning to release a 60-second version video of the animation.

Additionally, the official Twitter account of the animation has also revealed on Thursday that the manga has more than 1 million copies in print

The manga is publishing in English by Kodansha Comics. The story of the manga revolves around the working process of the human body cells.

In the March 2015th issue of Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine, Shimizu launched the manga, and the fourth compiled volume of the manga was shipped in November by Kodansha.
