The anime adaptation of Miku and Rein Kuwashima's light novel series "I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World" has released a new promotional video and announced that Shikao Suga will perform the theme song "Hachimitsu" (Honey). The anime is set to premiere on April 6.

The anime is planned and produced by UNLIMITED PRODUCE by TMS, while Millepensee handles the animation. Shin Itagaki serves as the chief director and also oversees the series' scripts, with Shingo Tanabe directing. Hiromi Kimura adapts the characters based on Rein Kuwashima's original designs for the animation, and Akiyuki Tateyama composes the music. The opening song "Gyakuten Geki" (Turnabout Drama) is performed by Tsukuyomi.

The story follows a bullied boy who discovers a door to another world. This alternate reality grants him access to cheat skills and a portal that allows him to travel between his old and new worlds. As he grows accustomed to his new abilities, he must decide whether he can change his life in his original world.
