"Chi.: Chikyuu no Undou ni Tsuite" premieres on October 5th

The TV anime "Chi.: Chikyuu no Undou ni Tsuite," based on the original work by Uoto, will premiere on October 5. With the release of the main promotional video, the cast members Katsuyuki Konishi, Yuuichi Nakamura, and Saya Hitomi were also announced.

The trailer begins with a torture scene of the inquisitor Novak. It then shows the journey of the protagonist Rafau, a young prodigy who becomes fascinated by the possibility and beauty of the heliocentric theory after encountering the heretic Hubert. The video also features excerpts from the opening theme "Kaijuu" by Sakanaction and the ending theme "Aporia" by Yorushika.

Katsuyuki Konishi plays Okji, a mercenary who is afraid to look up at the sky. Yuuichi Nakamura voices Badeni, a monk who has devoted himself with a pure heart to the pursuit of knowledge and the pinnacle of life. Saya Hitomi portrays Ylenta, an assistant in astronomical research. All three actors have shared their thoughts; the full text can be found below. The anime is directed by Kenichi Shimizu, with series composition by Shingo Irie, character design by Chikashi Kubota, music by Kensuke Ushio, and sound direction by Kousuke Koizumi.

"Chi...: Chikyuu no Undou ni Tsuite" tells the story of people who have dedicated their lives and beliefs to proving the heliocentric theory. The cast includes Maaya Sakamoto as Rafau, Kenjiro Tsuda as Novak, and Sho Hayami as Hubert.
