The anime adaptation of "Chitose-kun wa Ramune Bin no Naka" (Chitose in the Ramune Bottle) will be a split-cour production starting October 7. Alongside a new promotional video, additional cast members and the theme songs were announced.

The story follows high school student Chitose Saku, who belongs to the popular student group, and five girls connected to him. Their youth narrative is set in Fukui Prefecture. The first episode will be shown in an extended version.

Further cast members include:

- Awasaka Yōhei as teacher Kurasen (civilian name Iwanami Kuranosuke), the group's homeroom teacher
- Miyazaki Masaya as Yamazaki Kenta, whom Chitose comes into contact with through a task from Kurasen

The opening sequence is performed by Kucci with the song "Liar", while the ending sequence is by Cider Girl with "Kagerou" (Heat Haze). The newly released promotional clip contains the first voices of the additional characters and offers samples of both songs.

The production is based on the novel by Yūme, published by Shogakukan, and tells a coming-of-age story about interpersonal relationships and youth in a rural setting.
