The manga template "Chōjun! Chōjō-senpai" by Numashun is receiving an adaptation as an animation series. For the announcement, a first visual motif was published.
The plot takes place in the entertainment district Kabukichō, which is known for its unusual eateries. At the center are two police officers: Chōjō Meguru, an experienced policeman with supernatural abilities, and Ippongi Nao, a new officer without corresponding powers. Together they carry out their duty in a mix of supernatural elements and humorous situations.
The literary template first appeared in the Weekly Shōnen Jump by Shueisha between February 2024 and June 2025. The printed version comprises a total of eight volumes.
Responsible for the direction of the animation adaptation is Yamamoto Yūichi. The animation itself is produced by Studio ARVO Animation. Further involved specialists are Mori Hayashi for the series conception and script work as well as Sasaki Masakatsu for the design of the characters.
