On September 19, 2025, the long-awaited animated adaptation of the Reze Arc from Tatsuki Fujimoto's cult manga will hit theaters. Accompanying the announcement, twelve character illustrations were released, featuring iconic figures like Denji, Power, Makima, and Aki, as well as new antagonists from the film's storyline—including the enigmatic Reze and her companion Bom.
Starting April 4, 2025, movie-related posters and an exclusive teaser will be shown in Japanese theaters. The released designs emphasize the contrast between the chaotic energy of the protagonists and the dark aesthetic of the new adversaries.
The story follows Denji, a hybrid of human and devil, who works as a contract killer for government organizations. The Reze Arc focuses on a seemingly harmless encounter that quickly escalates into an existential power struggle.
The manga debuted in 2018 in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine and later moved to the Jump Plus platform, where the continuation is published. The 2022 TV series became an international success thanks to its brutal action and psychological depth. The film adaptation covers one of the most intense story arcs from the original work.
