Cinema film "Detective Conan: The Images of the one -eyed" - new visual and trailer unveiled

The next Detective Conan movie "Sekigan no Flashback" (English: "The Afterimage of the One-Eyed") will premiere in Japan on April 18, 2024. A new key visual and a second trailer offer glimpses into the film's dark atmosphere and emotional conflicts.

The image shows Conan Edogawa and Kogorō Mōri against the backdrop of the snowy mountains of Nagano, accompanied by the characters Kansuke Yamato, Kōmei Morofushi, and Uehara Yui from the Nagano Police. On the upper right, Rei Furuya (also known as Amuro Tooru), Kazami, and Kuroda Hyōe can be seen, their sharp gazes hinting at upcoming conflicts.

The trailer begins with a flashback to Mōri's time with the police, when a former colleague named Wani (voiced by Hiroaki Hirata) contacts him after an avalanche incident in Nagano. The scene shifts to Yamato's past, explaining the loss of his eye, and shows an unusually serious Mōri as well as a fearless Furuya. Spectacular scenes like an approaching avalanche and Mōri's tears highlight the film's emotional depth.

The film revolves around the connection between Mōri and Yamato, reignited by an old, unsolved case.
