Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection - New Chapter is scheduled to premiere in May 2024

The "Code Geass" series will release its latest chapter, "Code Geass: Z's Recapture," now renamed "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection - Rozé of the Recapture," in May 2024. The new anime will be presented in four acts. Along with the announcement, details about the cast, the theme song, a special video, and teaser images were released.

The story revolves around two brothers, Rose (voiced by Kouhei Amasaki) and Ash (voiced by Makoto Furukawa), who are known as the "Nameless Mercenaries." Rose, the younger brother, stands out for his intelligence and communication skills, handling negotiations, information gathering, and tactical commands. Ash, the older brother, is known for his exceptional physical abilities and piloting skills in the Nightmare Frame, successfully completing numerous missions under Rose's leadership.

The anime was directed by Yoshimitsu Ohashi and written by Noboru Kimura. The character designs are by CLAMP, with the figures designed by Takahiro Kimura and Hidekazu Shimamura. The opening song, "Running In My Head," is performed by MIYAVI, who aims to capture the inner conflicts and turmoil of the protagonist Rose with his energetic and powerful music. The special video showcases dynamic scenes featuring Rose, Ash, and the mysterious new Nightmare Frame Zi-Apollo, demonstrating Ash's unmatched combat abilities.
