Bandai Namco Arts' V-Storage News website has published comments from director Goro Taniguchi and writer Ichiro Okouchi regarding the latest Code Geass compilation film, and Okouchi has confirmed that both will return for what is planned "next" for the films.

"At the time of the TV series, I wanted to close the book on Lelouch's story after the final episode," Okouchi explained. "But this film is different. It was meant to be not an ending, but a beginning."
