Combat manga series "Hanma Baki / Baki" celebrates its 35th anniversary.

For the 35th anniversary of the popular fighting manga series, an official logo and a special visual were released. The release took place at New York Comic Con 2025. The series, created by Keisuke Itagaki, began in 1991.

The released visual shows the two main characters of the series: Baki Hanma and his father Yujiro Hanma. The depiction, in which Baki looks at Yujiro with a sidelong glance, hints at the ongoing tension and conflict between the characters. The visual was presented together with a specially designed 35th anniversary logo for the occasion.

The plot of the manga series revolves around battles between various fighters, including the protagonist Baki Hanma and his father Yujiro, who is considered "the strongest creature on Earth." In total, the series has sold over 85 million copies worldwide. The first series was titled "Grappler Baki." The latest part of the series, "Baki Rahen," is still ongoing.

The story has been adapted into several successful anime adaptations, available on Netflix. In 2026, the worldwide exclusive release of the anime series "Baki-Dou," based on the fourth part of the manga, is planned on the streaming service.
