Comedy anime series "Shika no Kono Kono Koko Shitan Tan" will be released this summer

A new TV anime, "Shika no Kono Kono Koko Shitan Tan," will premiere in July and bring a unique comedic story to the screens. Along with the announcement, the cast was introduced, key visuals were revealed, and a promotional video was released, giving fans a first look at the characters and the world they inhabit.

The series, designed by illustrator and creator Oshioshio, revolves around Tora Shiko, a former delinquent and now model student who hides her past as she navigates high school. The story begins when Tora helps the mysterious girl Kano Kono, who has horns on her head and gets tangled in power lines on her way to school. The plot thickens with the introduction of the Deer Club members, which includes characters like Kano and the laid-back, lovable Uma Shageme, voiced by Kazuka Izumi, who describes her role as uniquely uninhibited and irresistibly charming. Additional cast members include Megumi Han as Kano Kono, Saki Fujita as Tora Shiko, and Rui Tanabe as Tora's adoring younger sister.

The first key visual that was revealed shows the Deer Club members alongside real deer, hinting at the chaotic and humorous tone of the series. The promotional video is filled with comedic scenes showcasing the unique characters and dynamic interactions between humans and deer.

Creator Oshioshio expressed his overwhelming joy at his work being adapted into an anime, stating that it fulfills a dream, and he thanked the fans and the anime team.
