Soon it will be that time again:

Every two years, the comic world gathers in Erlangen for the most important festival in the German-speaking region.

The 13th International Comic Salon will take place from May 22 to 25, 2008, in the Heinrich-Lades-Halle convention center in Erlangen and at numerous other venues in the city center. The exact program has not yet been finalized. However, some features from recent years will return in 2008: numerous lectures and discussions,

the Max and Moritz Gala for the awarding of the prestigious "Max and Moritz Prize," the Comic Film Fest in Erlangen’s cinemas, the Young Forum where universities present their work, the German-French Comic Artists’ Seminar, and much more.

Over 100 exhibitors (publishers, agencies, and comic shops) and, of course, many special guests are expected. Last year, for example, *Detective Conan* artist Gosho Aoyama was in attendance.
