Continuation for "The Brilliant Healer's New Life in the Shadows" officially confirmed

The production of a second season of the anime television series The Brilliant Healer's New Life in the Shadows (jap. Isshun de Chiryou shiteita no ni Yakudatazu to Tsuihousareta Tensai Chiyushi, Yami Healer to shite Tanoshiku Ikiru) has been officially announced.

The confirmation was accompanied by a special announcement video and a new key visual. The video contains a compilation of key scenes from the first season, concluding with the reveal of the new artwork. This shows the main characters Zenos, Lily, and Carmilla.

Sakaku Hishikawa, the author of the original light novel series, expressed positivity about the continuation and looked forward to the portrayal of further adventures of the characters. The series follows Zenos, a self-taught healer from the slums, who, after his disgraceful dismissal from an adventurer party, opens an underground clinic. The first season began in April 2025.

Parallel to this news, further projects and products for the series are available. The original soundtrack of the first season can be accessed on common music streaming platforms. For collectors, a special metal display is also offered as a merchandise item. Furthermore, the opening of a temporary collaboration cafe with series motifs in Tokyo is planned for the coming March.
