Continuation of the anime series „Hime-sama Goumon no Jikan desu“ (’Tis Time for "Torture," Princess) with new advance material

A first promotional video is now available for the second season of the adaptation of Robinson Haruno and Hirakei's work "Hime-sama Goumon no Jikan desu" (English: ’Tis Time for "Torture," Princess). The continuation maintains the unusual dynamic between a captive princess and her guards.

The series portrays a royal princess and commander of the Third Knight Division who is imprisoned by the Demon King's army. Instead of physical torment, her captors employ unconventional interrogation methods: tempting foods like freshly roasted toast or steaming ramen, cute animals, and entertaining activities. Their goal is to extract military secrets through this "torture," while the protagonist tries to remain steadfast.

The released preview video introduces Sakura Heartlock for the first time, a character added in season two. She joins the ensemble of torture specialists who continue to employ creative methods against the princess. The core storyline remains intact, with the humorous interactions taking center stage.

Yoko Kanamori once again directs, while the animation studio PINE JAM is responsible for the production. The series is based on the manga of the same name, whose finale was published on August 19, 2025, in the magazine "Shōnen Jump+." The musical score, as in the first season, is composed by Yūki Kajiura.
