The second season of the anime "Ace of Diamond Act II" (Original title: Daiya no A actII -Second Season-) has been officially announced. The continuation of the popular baseball series is scheduled to be released in April 2026.

The announcement was accompanied by a new key visual and the first promotional video trailer. The visual motif shows the three main characters – pitcher Eijun Sawamura, catcher Kazuya Miyuki, and pitcher Satoru Furuya – with determined expressions in the dugout area. The trailer continues this scene, showing the entire Seido High School team entering the field with high motivation.

The production team includes both experienced and new members. The direction of the new season will be handled by Hideaki Oba. The series composition continues to be by Kenji Konuta, while the character design is created by Yasukazu Shoji. The music is composed by Hajime Hyakkoku. The animation is produced by Studio OLM.

The series is based on the successful manga by Yuji Terajima, which was published from 2015 to 2022. The story follows pitcher Eijun Sawamura and his team from Seido High School in their fierce competition to reach and win the national high school baseball championships at Koshien.
The first season of "Ace of Diamond Act II" aired from 2019 to 2020. The continuation, which fans have had to wait six years for, will continue the team's story at a later point in Sawamura's second school year.
