Continuation of Tokyo Revengers: New season announced for 2026

The popular anime series Tokyo Revengers will continue in 2026 with the so-called Three Days War Arc adaptation. A first preview video already offers glimpses into the key scenes of the upcoming season: It shows the members of the Tokyo Manji Gang after their dramatic conflict with the Tenjiku faction, as well as leader Mikey's surprising decision to disband the group. The video also features the first dialogue of the new character Kawaragi Senju, voiced by Mariya Ise.

Kawaragi Senju, who was introduced for the first time in design sketches and animation models, will play a pivotal role in the next season, expanding the series' cast with another exciting personality.

The announcements were made during the grand five-year anniversary event of Tokyo Revengers, held on June 22 in Tokyo. A surprise appearance by Mariya Ise, who officially presented her role as Senju for the first time, caused a stir.

Additionally, a new mobile game was announced: Tokyo Revengers UNLIMITED is expected to release in early 2026, with pre-registrations already available. The theme song is "Inferno Love Letter" by tuki., a song created during tuki.'s school days.

The plot of the new season picks up immediately after the conflict between Tokyo Manji and Tenjiku. Protagonist Takemichi first reaches a future where his partner Hinata is alive—but a central figure remains missing. In a world now ruled by three rival groups ("Era of the Three Factions"), Takemichi begins his final attempt to change the past.

The production remains with Studio Liden Films under the direction of Maki Kohira. The proven creative team for character design and music also stays on board.
