The anime series "Shuumatsu no Walküre" (Record of Ragnarok) has officially been confirmed for a third season. This announcement was accompanied by a short teaser and a promotional image.

The story revolves around the conflict between famous figures from human history and various deities. To determine the fate of humanity, 13 representatives chosen from Earth engage in direct one-on-one battles against gods. Following the events of the first two seasons, the competition is currently tied.

The upcoming third season is being directed by Koichi Hatsumi, who previously worked on titles such as "Tokyo Revengers." The script is handled by Yasuyuki Mutou, known for projects like "Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash." Character designs are managed by Yoko Tanabe and Hisashi Kawashima, while composer Yasuharu Takanashi returns to create the music. The anime is produced by studios Yumeta Company and MARU animation.

The authors of the original manga, Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui, along with illustrator Ajichika, contributed commemorative artwork and statements for this announcement, highlighting specific scenes and characters they are particularly excited to see adapted.
