Continued for sports and love drama AO No Hako (Blue Box) confirmed

After the finale of the first anime season of Ao no Hako, the production of a second season was officially announced. The decision followed immediately after the broadcast of the 25th episode, which also marked the conclusion of the current story arc.

A specially produced announcement trailer combines key moments of the protagonists Taiki Oogashi, Chinatsu Kano, and Hina with newly voiced dialogues, including an exclusive contribution by voice actress Reina Ueda (voice of Chinatsu). The short preview highlights the emotional depth of the character relationships while hinting at unresolved conflicts.

Additionally, a special ending illustration by Miho Tanino, who serves as the series' character designer and chief animator, was released for the season finale. The scene shows Oogashi and Chinatsu in a tender moment of connection—a visual nod to the ongoing development of their dynamic.

The series, based on the manga by Kōji Miura, follows Taiki Oogashi, an ambitious badminton newcomer at the elite Eimei High School, who must face not only athletic challenges but also tangled feelings for his teammate Chinatsu. The story balances intense sports sequences with sensitively portrayed teenage struggles, earning it a broad fanbase.
