Crayon Shin-chan: High Stakes and Super Powers in the Upcoming 3DCG Movie

In the expanding universe of the Crayon Shin-chan franchise, fans have been given a fresh look at the upcoming first-ever 3DCG animated film aptly titled "New Dimension! Crayon Shin-chan the Movie Super-Powered Climactic Battle: Rising Hand-Rolled Sushi." A new trailer, recently released on the official website, offers a captivating glimpse into the film, including the reveal of guest cast members and a preview of the movie's theme song, "Future is Yours" by Sambomaster.



The guest cast features a lineup of talents that promise an exciting mix of humor and drama. Tori Matsuzaka will voice Mitsuru Hiriya, a character with dark supernatural powers and a desire for revenge against the world. Comedians Mogura Suzuki and Katamari Mizukawa will portray Professor Ikebukuro and Nusuttoradamus II, respectively, while Akari Kitō will lend her voice to Negiko Shintani, a trainer who helps our protagonist harness his newfound powers.

The film is set to hit theaters in Japan on August 4. At the heart of the story is kindergarten-aged Shinnosuke, who gains telekinetic superpowers. This occurs when a white light from space passes over Earth, while a corresponding black light grants Mitsuru Hiriya destructive psychic abilities. As Japan faces a terrorist ordeal, Shinnosuke emerges as an unlikely hero.

The 3DCG Crayon Shin-chan film will be the 31st installment in the franchise.
