On Thursday, Crunchyroll and FUNimation had publicly announced that they will publish English-subtitle simulcast of the animation series My Hero Academia on 1 April; it will be the second season of the animation.
They had also announced that they will also publish the first season of the anime My Hero Academia with English subtitles. They are planning to release the anime in Canada, United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, South Africa, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. The whole series has already been published on Hulu.
Funimation had announced that they would release the animation series with both English and Japanese dub. The whole dubbed series will available on FunimationNow streaming services, although the subtitle version will be available on Crunchyroll and Hulu. Funimation is also planning to launch the first six episodes of its simuldub on the same day they will air in Japan.
The series is directing by Kenji Nagasaki at BONES, and Yousuke Kurode is the script writer for the series. Yoshihiko Umakoshi is the character designer and chief animation director for the series. Yuuki Hayashi is the music composer of the animation.
The cast member for the second animation series are Wataru Hatano as Hitoshi Shinso, Saki Ogasawara as Itsuka Kendo, Miho Masaka as Ibara Shiozaki, Tetsu Inada as Enji Todoroki, Azu Sakura as Mei Hatsume, Koji Okino as Tetsutetsu Tetsutesu, and Kohei Amaski as Neito Monoma.
The opening theme song for the animation ‘Peace Sign’ is performing by Kenshi Yonezu, and the ending theme song is performing by Little Glee Monster.
The anime will be premier at 5:30 P.M. on Saturday on NTV and YTV channels. It will officially release on 25 March.
