Culinary adventures in the new preview of the anime "Delicious in Dungeon"

Kadokawa has unveiled a new trailer for "Delicious in Dungeon," the anime adaptation of Ryōko Kui's manga. This preview not only showcases the series' vibrant artistic palette but also introduces a range of new voice talents. Additionally, it offers a glimpse of the opening theme "Sleep Walking Orchestra," performed by the renowned rock collective BUMP OF CHICKEN. Viewers can look forward to following the adventures in the first half of 2024, with the episodes split across two separate seasons.



Joining the vocal ensemble is Saori Hayami as the spellcasting Falin, who travels through labyrinthine depths with her younger sibling Laios. Akira Miki will portray Namari, a diminutive dwarf who has taken a different path from Laios' brigade. Finally, Shinji Kawada lends his vocal prowess to Shuro, a skilled blade fighter who has also parted ways with Laios' team.

The series is a mix of gastronomy and old-school, perilous dungeon exploration. The adventurer Laios and his crew find themselves without any resources after a disastrous encounter with a fire-breathing dragon. In their desperation, they embark on an inventive culinary experiment: devouring their monstrous foes. From sticky slimes to terrifying basilisks and even the dreaded dragons themselves—no creature is safe from becoming the next exotic dish on their adventurous menu.
