Netflix has released a new trailer for the anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and confirmed the official release date. The series, which is based on the video game Cyberpunk 2077 and produced by Studio Trigger, will consist of 10 episodes of approximately 30 minutes each and will be available on the platform starting September 13. Additionally, the company has released a new promotional image featuring the character Lucy, accompanying the announcement.







As for the plot of the series, it will tell the story of a street kid and his struggle for survival in a futuristic city obsessed with technology and body modifications. To this end, he becomes an Edgerunner: a mercenary also known as a cyberpunk. The story is set in the same universe as the video game Cyberpunk 2077.
