After his spontaneous teleportation, Prince Lloyd lands with Grim in an icy, foreign dimension – the Paradise. There, they confront the angel Jihriel, who had been observing the earthly recital of Escher and Saria. Jihriel, an envoy of the 64 Paradise Gods, is shocked by Lloyd's unexpected presence, as the dimensions should be strictly separated. Lloyd directly requests instruction in divine magic, but Jihriel reacts arrogantly and refuses. A battle ensues, during which Jihriel employs his Luxa spell – feather-like, steel-hard energy swords.

Lloyd analyzes Jihriel's abilities during the fight: Luxa proves neither invincible nor infinite but instead consumes Jihriel's mana. Lloyd experiments with teleportation-based offensive spells ("Shadow Wolf: Thrust") and adapts his tactics to overcome Jihriel's evasion maneuvers. When Jihriel's mana is exhausted and he becomes translucent, Lloyd voluntarily shares his mana with him. Thereupon, Jihriel agrees to teach divine magic but demands a pact.

Jihriel secretly attempts to take over Lloyd's body but fails miserably against his overwhelming mana reserves and remains trapped as a tiny companion on Lloyd's palm. Through the pact, Lloyd now intuitively understands the previously enigmatic language of divine magic. His first attempt to cast Luxa, however, results in a gigantic, uncontrolled manifestation of sword-like energy constructs, which Jihriel interprets as a "divine revelation."

Meanwhile, in the church: Babylon follows a suspicious odor of decay to the secluded garden. An unknown pastor seemingly offers help but stands out due to his unusually flawless, brand-new rosary amulet and atypically vague statements. Babylon grows suspicious but withdraws when Ren retrieves him and the recital ends.

Lloyd's group returns to the church. He bids farewell to Escher – his goal of learning divine magic has been achieved. The mysterious pastor watches from the background as he checks his amulet and announces heightened security measures for an upcoming event. The episode concludes with Lloyd's departure, now accompanied by the shrunken yet enthusiastic angel Jihriel.
