Episode 19 of Dainanaoji (Season 2) focuses on the Great Advent Festival, which turns out to be the scene of a concerted attack. Lloyd and his allies organize the protection of the twelve bishops, as they suspect that the mysterious pastor is among them. The group divides the bishops to better guard and monitor them, with Sylpha taking charge of supervising Bishop Anastasia.

During the festival, Pope Guitane surprisingly reveals himself as the mysterious pastor and discloses his hatred for the gods as well as his plan to destroy the kingdom to force God to intervene on earth. He summons chimeras that attack the city and directly confronts King Charles and Prince Albert.

Lloyd appears in time to protect Albert and Charles and confronts Guitane in battle. The episode ends with the realization that Guitane's power and influence are more far-reaching than assumed, and continues the confrontation for the next episode.
