In the first episode, student Ayase Momo is feeling down after being dumped by her boyfriend. As she tries to move on, she notices her classmate Takakura Ken—nicknamed "Occult-kun"—being bullied by other students. In her kindness, she steps in and defends him. Despite a brief misunderstanding where Ayase criticizes his obsession with the occult, they apologize to each other and continue their conversation.

They realize they hold opposing beliefs: Ayase believes in ghosts but not aliens, while Ken believes in aliens but not ghosts. To challenge each other's skepticism, they decide to visit locations associated with these phenomena—Ayase heads to a UFO hotspot, and Ken goes to a haunted area. That very night, both encounter the very beings they doubted. Ken is cursed by an evil spirit named Turbo-Granny, while Ayase faces real extraterrestrials.

Amid Ayase's ordeal, Ken—who has partially fused with Turbo-Granny due to the curse—appears via phone call to help her. Though overwhelmed, his intervention gives Ayase the chance to recall her grandmother's teachings about focusing her inner energy. She unleashes her psychic abilities, breaks free, and together they manage to drive off the aliens.

After their escape, they acknowledge the reality of each other's beliefs—Ken now believes in ghosts, and Ayase accepts the existence of aliens. Ayase realizes Ken's curse remains unresolved and offers to help him confront Turbo Granny.
