"Danjo No Yūjō Wa Seiritu Suru? (Iya, Shinai !!) “-New key visual and music details for the Romcom anime unveiled

The TV anime adaptation of the light novel series Danjo no Yūjō wa Seiritsu suru? (Iya, Shinai!!) (English: Can a Man and Woman Just Be Friends? (No, They Can’t!!)) by Nana Nanami has unveiled a second key visual along with broadcast and music details. The series, set to premiere on April 4, 2024, tells a humorous story about the boundaries between friendship and love.

The new visual features the protagonists Yū Natsume (voiced by Kikunosuke Toya), the extroverted Himari Inuzuka (Sayumi Suzushiro), and the reserved Rinne Enomoto (Yuka Nukui) in a typical school scene: While Inuzuka energetically drags Natsume out of the classroom, Enomoto watches the pair from a distance—a visual hint at the growing tensions in this love triangle.

The series will air starting April on TOKYO MX, BS Asahi, and other channels.

Musical accompaniment:

- Opening Theme: Shitsumon, Koi tte Nan deshō ka? (English: Question: What Is Love?) performed by HoneyWorks feat. Hakoniwa Lily. The track will be released digitally on April 5.

- Ending Theme: Dear my Soleil sung by Hina Tachibana (known from Kageki Shoujo!!). The single will receive a physical release on May 28 but will be available digitally starting April 12.

The story follows Natsume and Inuzuka, who made an "eternal friendship pact" in their youth. However, when Natsume’s childhood crush Enomoto reappears, their relationship begins to waver. The series, illustrated in Nanami’s distinctive art style, balances romantic comedy with emotional coming-of-age moments.
