In this episode, Keitaro and Yayoi are stuck in a very eerie place called Castle H Ruins. Yayoi returns after disappearing and being saved by a ghost. They discover that the main ghost in the area casts a curse on people, making them feel restless and trapped. The ghost surrounds people with other spirits and waits for the curse to take effect.

Yayoi and Keitaro decide to fight the ghost. Yayoi tells Keitaro to wear headphones that block out sounds. This is to prevent him from hearing a special song that sends spirits to the afterlife. They begin to weaken the main ghost, but it tries to escape. They barely manage to stop it in time.

They find a cursed charm that had been causing the main ghost to act strangely. They remove it, and the ghost returns to normal. Yayoi explains that this ghost was originally a great spirit that had split into smaller parts. It wanted to share its memories with others but became confused due to the cursed charm.

They bury the cursed charm to prevent it from causing more trouble. Yayoi and Keitaro talk about how challenging their adventure was and decide to continue hunting ghosts. They thank each other for their help and promise to stick together.

The episode ends with Yayoi suggesting another very ghostly location for their next adventure. It seems they still have many more challenges ahead.
