The Shueisha publishing house has opened an official website for the TV adaptation of the manga Dark Gathering by Kenichi Kondou, where the main characters
and a teaser promotional video can be seen. The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2023.

Keitarou Gentouga is a college freshman who hates ghosts. Unfortunately for him, he has a knack for attracting ghosts. Two years ago, this connection had resulted in him suffering a mental injury to his right hand, with his friend caught in the crossfire. The event caused him to isolate himself and could hardly socialize. Luckily, thanks to the help of his childhood friend Eiko Houzuki, Keitarou is slowly starting to reintegrate into society.

As part of his rehabilitation, Keitarou takes a part-time job as a private tutor, and his first student is none other than Eiko's cousin, Yayoi Houzuki. In addition to being a prodigy, Yayoi has another special feature: she has a mental state just like Keitarou. However, unlike Keitarou, she longs to encounter ghosts in hopes of finding the ghost that kidnapped her mother. As Keitarou is dragged to haunted locations by Yayoi and Eiko, his part-time job seems to stray further and further from its original purpose.
