The production of the anime series "DARK MOON - Kuro no Tsuki: Tsuki no Saidan -" (Dark Moon: The Altar of the Moon) has been confirmed for January 2026. First insights are provided by a key visual as well as a teaser video, supplemented by information on cast and production team.
The plot is based on a webcomic created in collaboration with ENHYPEN, an artist group from HYBE. The story takes place at the prestigious Deselius Academy in the coastal town of Riverfield. Seven boys with mysterious pasts lead a seemingly normal school life there - in reality, they are vampires hiding their dark origins.
The story takes a turn when the student Suha enters the school. Due to traumatic childhood experiences, she harbors a strong aversion to vampires. Nevertheless, the boys feel irresistibly drawn to her. As mysterious events shake the town, the group's past secrets gradually begin to be revealed.
