The globally successful Demon Slayer saga continues its journey on the big screen: The first part of the three-part film series Infinity Castle Arc (Japanese: Mugenjō-hen) will hit Japanese theaters on July 18, 2024. A newly released poster features protagonist Tanjiro Kamado and the Demon Slayer Corps in a dramatic face-off against powerful demons in front of the surreal architecture of the "Infinity Castle" (Japanese: Mugenjō). The composition hints at the series' epic final battle.
The Infinity Castle Arc adapts the final story arc of Koyoharu Gotouge's manga, in which the Demon Slayers uncover the origins of the demon leader Muzan Kibutsuji. The previous film, Mugen Train, grossed over $500 million worldwide and holds the record as the highest-grossing anime film of all time.
