Dates Frankfurt Book Fair 2010

The major manga publishers are once again participating in Frankfurt (am Main) this year, offering, among other things, signing sessions with their mangaka.

TOKYOPOP, represented with a booth opposite the Comic Center, is featuring three mangaka—Anike Hage ("Die Wolke"), Natalia Batista ("Ein Lied für Elise"), and Natalie Wormsbecher ("Life Tree's Guardian")—who will not only provide visitors with autographs and sketches but will also discuss the highs and lows of being a manga artist during the event »Mangaka in Europe - Nightmare or Dream Job?« on the fair's Sunday. The event starts at 12:45 PM on the stage in the Comic Center.

CARLSEN, in Hall 3.0 at Booth G 356 near the Comic Center, is present with all its program divisions and, alongside star guests like Joscha Sauer ("NICHTLUSTIG"), has plenty to offer manga fans. This includes signing sessions with Judith Park ("Dystopia," "Y Square," "Luxus") and Martina Peters ("Lilientod," "E-Motional"), manga drawing workshops, and, on Sunday from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM, a "Black Butler" cosplay photo shoot in the Congress Center, located diagonally across from Hall 3.
