'Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction' unveils trailer and poster

The animated feature film "Dead Dead Demon's Dededestruction," based on the original work by Inio Asano, has released a special trailer and poster. The story is divided into two parts and is set in a world where giant alien spaceships have landed in Tokyo and coexist with people's daily lives. At the center of the story are the experiences of two high school students, Kadode Koyama and Ontan, who grow up in this extraordinary environment.

The trailer features casual conversations between Kadode and Ontan after school, supplemented by the voices of the characters Rira Ikuta and Ano. A key visual element is a giant disc hovering high above the rooftop where the girls are standing. The trailer blends everyday scenes, such as the girls walking home from school and a group of five friends exploring the city, with more dramatic moments, including something falling from the alien mothership, giant combat robots, laser explosions, and scenes of the city being obliterated.

The poster centers around the acronym "Dededede," a reference to the title, set against the backdrop of the massive mothership. Also featured on the poster are their classmates Kurihara Kiho, Demoto Ai, and Hirama Rin. Kadode and Ontan are depicted in a carefree pose, accompanied by the text "The Earth is in grave danger!"

The first part of "Dead Dead Demon's Dedededestruction" is set to release on March 22, 2024, followed by the second part on April 19, 2024. The animation is produced by Production +h., with Tomoyuki Kurokawa as animation director, Reiko Yoshida handling composition and series script, and Takahiro Suzuki in charge of world design.
