Deji 'Meets Girl Short Anime Announced

Liden Films announced a new anime today titled Deji' Meets Girl.



The anime is set to be released this coming October. Along with the announcement, the team responsible for this work was introduced, consisting of the following members:

Deji' Meets Girl follows the adventures of Maise Higa, a 16-year-old high school student who is forced to work part-time as a receptionist at her family's hotel in Okinawa. What seems like a boring summer vacation takes a strange turn when "Ichiro Suzuki," a guest from the mainland, arrives, bringing bizarre phenomena with him: fish floating in the air and a giant banyan tree sprouting through the hotel's roof. The word "Deji" is an Okinawan dialect term meaning "annoying" or "a lot."
