Dekoboko Majo no Oyako Jijō: New promo sneak peek and premiere date announced

The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Piroya's manga "Dekoboko Majo no Oyako Jijō" (translated as "The Family Circumstances of the Unbalanced Witch") updated its contents on Friday. This update included the second promotional video for the series. Additionally, the website revealed further information about additional cast members, new key visual art, and confirmed the series' premiere date of October 1.



The video features the opening song "Sugar Doughnuts," performed by Nana Mizuki.

The updated cast list introduces:

- Yō Taichi as Giriko

- Akira Sekine as Luna

- Takayuki Kondō as Fennel

- Daisuke Ono as Grinde

The story revolves around a witch named Alissa, who lives alone in a forest. Through an unforeseen event, she discovers a human child and raises her, naming her Viola. Sixteen years later, Viola develops an unusual dynamic between the two, leading to comedic interactions that play with their ambiguous roles as parent and child.

The voice actresses Nana Mizuki and Aoi Koga will portray the characters of Viola and Alissa, respectively. Additional cast members include:

- Takaya Hashi as Phoenix

- Romi Park as Lyra

- Kana Hanazawa as the Narrator

Regarding production, Masahiro Takata directs at A-Real and oversees sound direction at Saber Links. GyroKnuckle is in charge of the series' scripts, while Miwa Yoshida handles character design. Other roles include Risa Arai for prop design, Risa Nakamura for color coordination, Masaaki Kawaguchi as art director, Masato Makino as cinematographer, and Masaki Utsunomiya for editing. The series' music is composed by the artist myu, and the ending theme "Welcome!" is performed by the band angela.
